Congratulations Joey and Carol Morey!
Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 9:12PM Last month, I had the privilege to attend and document my good buddy Joey's wedding. The ceremony was held at a local church in Menlo Park, California, where Joey and Carol's friends and family gathered for this joyous occasion. I was there too. I knew all of three people there. Joey, Carol, and Mike. I felt like the odd man out a bit. I relied on my camera to keep things interesting, as I wasn't able to talk to Joe and Carol much (they did have some matters to attend to on their wedding day). I wasn't the only photographer there, either. Joey had personally asked me to shoot along side the other photographer, but I tried to stay out of his way, seeing as the bride's mother had hired him. So I took a simplistic approach to shooting this wedding. I had to keep it simple, as I didn't want to step on the other photographer's toes. I restricted myself to just one lens, and no flash. I used my 50 1.4G for that shallow depth of field and amazing low-light performance. Here are a few samples to show, and the rest I will upload at a later date.
